The Story of EH!

Hi, I’m Jess. My title may be Founder, but really, I’m just a Canadian who wanted to build something better.

Remember when social media used to feel fun, personal—even useful?
I created EH! because I couldn’t find the platform I wanted to use.
One that amplifies real community.
One that reflects us.
One that understands that Canadian culture is something worth protecting—especially now.

We live in a country with a rich and layered identity. But the digital platforms we rely on weren’t built for that. They weren’t built for us or by us. And they definitely weren’t built to elevate the voices of small towns, local businesses, side hustlers, or people with good ideas and zero marketing budgets.

That’s what EH! is about.

I’ve spent over 20 years working in tech—in engineering, project management, and leadership roles at places such as Lululemon and Reddit. I’ve built large systems, scaled fast-moving teams, and seen firsthand the importance of intention.

I want to build a space where Canadians can connect, grow, and feel seen.

EH! is a social platform for real people.
